Are you an experienced creative video editor who is looking to showcase your creativity and skill to a local community while helping a young hungry company grow and reach new bigger brand audiences. If so this may be a great opportunity for you. We are looking for a full time experienced video editor to join our creative team of content creators.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the creative and fun culture we have developed. Bring the most creative fun version of you to work every day.
- Be on time and prepared for work every day.
- Coordinate with the producer and other team members to identify creative direction as well as the specific needs of a project.
- Assign projects to team members and keep track of the deadlines
- Review videos, edit and make necessary changes
- Ensure all assignments are shot and edited on time for publication
- Manipulate video to achieve highest quality using the appropriate tools
- Correct and master audio and music to fit in the video
- Ensure all photo/video equipment is used properly and order supplies as needed
- Give feedback to the team on ways to continuously improve.
- Stay up to date with new video editing technologies and cutting edge editing techniques
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a video editor
- Preferred 2 plus years of prior professional video editing experience
- Ability to demonstrate your skills prior to hiring not just a reel
- Demo Reel
- Able to work under strict deadlines and in high pressure situations comfortably
- Proficient in digital technology and video editing software packages (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut Pro X, Davinci Resolve)
- Creative mind with an eye for detail and storytelling skills
- Time-management and leadership skills
- Multi tasking is a must and able to work fluidly as projects evolve and change.
- Great Attitude and ability to share knowledge and willingness to learn
Pay- Commensurate with experience Level
Hours 8:30-5 Mon-Fri (Occasional weekend work required when needed)
Nerf Gun Skills preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $22.00 per hour
Schedule: 8 hour shift
Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Adobe Premiere: 1 year (Required)
- Final Cut Pro: 1 year (Required)
