Inshell Facility – Orland
The Warehouse Lead is responsible for aiding in the fumigation of packed product, inventory recordkeeping, and shipping and receiving of product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Warehouse Lead completes shipping supporting documentation. The Warehouse Lead is involved in fumigation activities and is involved in product count reconciliation. Continuously works to improve warehouse time efficiency.
Qualifications and/or Experience
- Must be able to direct employees in the absence of the Warehouse Supervisor/Management
- Able to work independently
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Knowledge of fumigation safety practices
- Time management skills
- Robust physical stamina for performing strenuous and repetitive tasks
- Proficient in all General Labor and Equipment Operator duties
High school graduate or equivalent
Years of experience working in the almond industry

The physical demands include: repeated twisting, pulling, pushing, climbing, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Person must be able to pass medical clearance in order to use respirators.
Employee must be able to pass medical evaluation that allows the proper use of a full-face respirator.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to cold and/or hot weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Employee will be working around moving equipment.
