Workforce Development Professional / Recruiter 
Anderson, CA

This position will promote the Company’s career opportunities, reputation, values, and culture through outreach activities for the purpose of attracting and retaining the Company’s workforce.


  • Develop and maintain relationships with community recruiting sources, workforce development organizations, training programs and educational institutions that align with developing the workforce in manufacturing, transportation, and forestry
  • Administer the Company’s college internship program from initial recruiting through hire
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to develop and execute recruiting strategies to fill open positions
  • Identify and develop strategic recruitment channels at community colleges, trade schools, tech schools, universities and colleges, including attending career fairs and hiring events
  • Develop, implement and coordinate workforce development outreach efforts with various external partners
  • Promote the Company brand, values, and culture through visible participation in community recruiting events
  • Create new pathways to building interest and engagement with the Company and career opportunities
  • Prioritize multiple projects and quickly adjust priorities as circumstances change


  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, workforce development or related field preferred
  • Two years of directly related experience required
  • Demonstrated skill in effective communication and public speaking
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to manage projects from conception to end within deadlines
  • Travel will be required, primarily within the Pacific Northwest, to interface with colleges, universities, and other workforce development partners
  • This position’s preferred location is Anderson, CA – the Eugene, OR, or Shelton, WA location may be considered
