Job Title: XL Sterilization Technician
Employer: Pit River Health Service – XL Dental Department
Location: XL Clinic, Alturas, CA
Job Type: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Pay: $19.52–$25.37/hr (Grade 5)
Description:
Pit River Health Service is accepting applications for an XL Sterilization Technician to provide receptionist, administrative, clerical, and sterilization support to the XL Dental Department. This position ensures the smooth workflow of the office and maintains an aseptic environment throughout the Dental Clinic in accordance with OSHA standards.
Essential Functions:
- Manage provider and patient scheduling
- Order dental supplies
- Perform sterilization of dental tools and equipment
- Assist staff Dentist and Hygienist providers in patient treatment as needed
- Maintain an aseptic environment per OSHA standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Dental Director
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certification required
- Customer service oriented
