The Medication Support Administrative Coordinator position supports the medical staff in providing a variety of health related services to individuals, the community and other public agencies. This position assists with the daily operation of the clinic and performs front desk reception duties, checks patients in, schedules appointments, and provides support to nursing staff. The Med Support Admin Assistant prepares, reviews, and maintains medical charts and record, coordinates medical release of records in accordance with established laws, and prepares and maintains medication education material.

Education and/or Experience

  • AA Degree preferred; Bachelor’s Degree recommended.
  • Minimum (2) year experience in medical records or other clerical records management and administration.
  • Experience preferred working with children and adolescents with identified emotional disturbance and/or special needs.
  • Proficient computer skills: Excel, Word, Google, etc.
