The Public Health Agency is looking to fill two part-time extra help positions for 10 to 25 hours a week during the school year. These positions will work with the Alcohol and Other Drug Youth Prevention Coordinator to implement youth development programs in Plumas County Schools.  Advisors are expected to facilitate youth development activities and provide education to youth about public health related topics, including Alcohol and Drug use, tobacco use, and nutrition. Applicant must have the ability to communicate with, and relate to middle school and high school aged youth.  Must be able to work independently and to drive to schools throughout the county.  Experience with junior high and high school aged youth is ideal.
